What happened

Wiz’s enterprise-security guide treats ChatGPT integrations as part of the wider production environment. Prompts, files, connectors, APIs, and storage introduce different paths through which sensitive information can move.

A provider’s security assurances do not determine whether an organization has configured its own integration appropriately. Check which identities can use it, which data can be retrieved, and where inputs and outputs are retained.

This is a general guide, not evidence of a newly discovered ChatGPT breach. For a practical review, map one real workflow from user request to data retrieval and output, then verify permissions at each boundary.
