Editorial standards
Every public brief should be source-linked. Imported machine text is a starting draft, not a reviewed conclusion.
Format (Security brief, Research explained, Weekly briefing) is separate from event type, technology, and response guidance.
Response labels ACT, REVIEW, and WATCH are editorial judgments recorded on the post. Technical severity, when shown, cites its source (for example NVD) and is not treated as the same thing as response guidance.
Unknowns stay visible. Editors do not mark imported records as human-reviewed automatically.
Corrections are logged on the Corrections page. Split incidents keep an explanatory notice at the original URL instead of silently redirecting to one child.
